SmartRetail AI Q1 2025 Product Update
What shipped in Q1: Customer Behavior Analysis, command palette (⌘K), notification center, the new mobile sidebar, and 23 smaller improvements.
Q1 2025 was our most productive quarter yet. Here's a summary of everything that shipped between January and March.
**Customer Behavior Analysis (new AI feature).** The fourth AI analytics feature, this one analyzes transaction patterns to identify peak hours, peak days, top product categories, payment method preferences, and average basket size.
**Command Palette (⌘K / Ctrl+K).** Navigate anywhere in the dashboard with a keyboard shortcut. The command palette supports searching products, navigating to pages, and triggering common actions.
**Notification Center.** Real-time in-app notifications for low stock alerts, large sales, and system events. Accessible from the bell icon in the dashboard header.
**Mobile Sidebar.** Complete redesign of the navigation experience on mobile. The sidebar now slides in from the left with a backdrop overlay.
**POS improvements.** Barcode search is now instant. Cart calculations update optimistically for a snappier feel.
In Q2, we're focused on: CSV export for all reports, AI-powered product descriptions, stock transfer between locations, and our mobile app (iOS first).
